Adolescence is an exciting time in our young learners lives. During this time of life, they will begin their formal education and begin to develop their own creative existences. It’s also a time that is full of growth, change, and challenges along the way. Our guidance and counseling services support students as they begin to love learning and growing in their academic, social, and emotional skills.
청소년기는 창조적인 존재로 출발하기 위한 공식적인 교육을 시작하는 시기이며, 다양한 경험을 통하여 잠재력을 준비하고, 발산 할 수 있는 중요한 시기 입니다. 또한 자아 성찰, 자아탐구, 신체적인 성장, 외부 환경의 변화등과 더불어 학생 마다 개인의 성장 속도가 다르기에 많은 어려움이 있을 수도 있습니다. BDS는 생활 지도와 상담을 통하여 학생들이 학업뿐만 아니라 사회, 정서적 능력을 배우고 성장시키는 위한 지원을 아끼지 않습니다.

Moving to a new school or a new area can be stressful for young learners, and BDS helps all incoming students for a certain period by offering regular meetings and events.
신입생들이 전학을 오는 경우 낯선 환경에 경험하게 되는 긴장과 불안을 경험할 수 있습니다.
BDS는 이 적응 과정을 최소화하고 학생의 스트레스를 줄이기 위해 신입생들을 위한 이벤트와 교직원 밀착 지원을 통하여 학생들이 BDS에 빠르게 적응할 수 있도록 지원합니다.

The counseling team at BDS supports students to cultivate positive relationships within their communities by facilitating lessons and specialized meditation programs. These programs encourage students to develop a sense of altruism based on the main virtues we emphasize to our students.
(5-ships; Leadership, Partnership, Followship, Healership, Servantship)
We also expect that BDS students grow in areas such as problem-solving skills, anger/depression management, friendship issues, and self-image issues.
BDS 교사들은 학생들에게 BDS의 교육 철학에서 강조하는 주요 덕목(5-Ship; 리더십, 파트너십, 팔로우십, 힐러십, 서번트십)을 바탕으로 이타심 함양하도록 교육 프로그램과 명상 프로그램을 진행합니다. 학생들이 공동체 안에서 여러 사람들과 긍정적인 관계를 형성할 수 있도록 지원합니다.
또한 BDS 학생들이 갈등 해결 능력, 감정 조절, 자아성찰 통한 훌륭한 인격체로서의 성장을 기대합니다.

The counselor and all BDS teachers conduct academic advising to assist students who are struggling with issues related to learning, studying, and testing.
Our unique process of counseling is available to support students reach their full potential by acknowledging the intrinsic worth of each student that will improve their self-esteem.
상담사와 모든 BDS 교사들은 학습, 공부, 시험과 관련된 문제로 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생들을 돕기 위해 학술적 조언을 진행합니다. 학생 개개인의 내적 가치를 인정해 학생들의 자존감을 높여줌으로써 잠재력이 최대한 발휘될 수 있도록 BDS만의 상담 과정이 준비되어 있습니다.
